Sir Cliff Richard slashes £200,000 off the price of his £6.8million luxury Barbados pad

SIR Cliff Richard has cut £200,000 off the price of his luxury Barbados pad.

The singer, 80, has been trying to flog the Caribbean getaway since 2017 and last year offered it for £6.8million.

The villa, named Coral Sundown, on an exclusive estate is set in 2.6 acres with six en-suite bedrooms, a covered terrace plus bar and pool.

Each bedroom overlooks the crystal clear turquoise Caribbean sea.

Estate agents Hamptons said: “Coral Sundown is ideal for entertaining with a spacious kitchen.”

Sir Cliff, who has sold more than 250 million records, has relocated to the US as he likes the “anonymity”. He is thought to be in New York.

He sued the BBC for defamation over a televised raid on his Berkshire home in 2014. He later sold the property.

In 2016, he sold his Berkshire apartment for £2.6 million which he said has been “defiled” by the televised raid.

He described the accusations – which he was never arrested or charged over – as “two years of hell”.
