Fans of the hit western series have been eagerly awaiting the fourth season of Yellowstone ever since the season three finale left several characters’ future in the balance. And while fans will have to wait until the series returns to find out for sure the fates of John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner), Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes), it looks like young Tate Dutton (Brecken Merrill) will be just fine.

But with the coronavirus pandemic continuing to cause complications to TV productions across the globe, fans feared Yellowstone would be impacted.

And while guidelines and new ways of working have been adopted on set, it appears it hasn’t stopped the crew pacing through filming in order to get season four out as soon as possible.

So much so, Merrill shared a series of snaps on his Instagram page with a number of his co-stars to confirm all of his scenes were wrapped.

“That’s a wrap on Tate for @yellowstone season 4!!” Merrill began as he captioned the snaps.

“Thank you so much to the cast and crew. I love you all! #stephenkay @christinaalexandravoros @ferlandguy @greg_moon_mufilmartist @kelseyasbille @gilbirmingham @mobringsplenty @alcliffteach #yellowstonetv #horsingaround,

“#childactor #yellowstoneseason4 #duttonranch #tatedutton #bunkhouseboys #nospoilers #Iloveyoutoo(youknowwhoyouare).”

Among the photos are selfies with a number of the crew as well as fellow cast members Gil Birmingham and Kelsey Asbille.

Of course, it didn’t take long for Yellowstone fans to weigh in with their messages of excitement at seeing the snaps and hearing Merrill’s filming schedule had been wrapped.
