Bachelor Nation has looked
a little a lot different this past year thanks to the coronavirus. Not only did Clare Crawley, Tayshia Adams, and Matt James’ seasons of The Bachelorette and The Bachelor take place at resorts instead of good ol’ Bachelor Mansion, ABC skipped an entire season of Bachelor in Paradise due to coronavirus safety concerns.
But now that the franchise has gotten its closed-set filming routine down, it looks like Bachelor in Paradise is coming back. And this time it’s potentially gonna be super-sized.
Executive Robert Mills spoke to Nick Viall on The Viall Files podcast (via Us Weekly), explaining that the network is “hell-bent” on Bachelor in Paradise returning this summer, saying this season might be “super-sized” because there are so many contestants from previous seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette to choose from. And yes, that includes Peter Weber, who is recently single as a result of breaking up with Kelley Flanagan.
“At the very least, I just want Peter to come [by] on a seaplane,” Mills said. “Even if he just does a fly by and leaves.”
FYI, it looks like ABC is also trying to make After the Final Rose happen for Matt James’ season of The Bachelor—which the network had to skip during The Bachelorette due to coronavirus safety concerns!
