Housing Secretary Robert Jenrick argued Britons should not get complacent due to our own Covid success. While speaking on Good Morning Britain (GMB) Mr Jenrick asked Britons to wait for more information from the Government on holidays. He recommended that people do not book them now as the Government will quickly be releasing more information on the plans for travel going forward.
He added, Europe’s difficulty with the coronavirus pandemic means difficult decisions must be made regarding international travel to these areas.
Mr Jenrick said: “I wouldn’t book holidays now for two reasons.
“Firstly, because we are working through the international travel plans.
“We will be setting that out next month so I would strongly advise everyone to wait and see what the Transport Secretary, Grant Shapps, says having reviewed the evidence and set out the plan there.”

“We are one of if not the leading country in the world for that.
“But there are countries in the world that are sadly behind us in that regard.
