Good Morning Britain fans are wishing Dr Hilary Jones a very happy birthday – and thanking the lockdown hero for getting them through this pandemic with his coronavirus advice.
The beloved GP is turning 67 today so hosts Ben Shephard and Charlotte Hawkins lead us all on a trip down memory lane in celebration of his big day.
Dr Hilary has been a presence in our homes for decades now, and GMB posted pictures of a very young-looking medic when he first started presenting on GMTV back in the day.
And viewers watching along took to social media in their droves to wish Dr Hilary many happy returns – and to thank him for all his hard work and advice during the pandemic.
‘Happy birthday to you Dr Hilary,’ one viewer wrote. ‘The voice of reason, giving us all clarity, thank you for being there for us.’
Another added: ‘Happy birthday Dr Hilary, you’ve given us all some great advice over the years and especially through this strange time of lockdown.’
Another enamoured fan said that Hilary ‘doesn’t look a day over 35,’ and we have to agree.
What a silver fox!
Happy birthday Dr Hilary, you legend!
Elsewhere on Good Morning Britain today, Dr Hilary was still dishing out advice.
He admitted that he ‘never had much faith’ in the now-scrapped NHS coronavirus tracing app.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
