Tipping Point fans were left devastated on Wednesday after one hunky contestant was the first to leave the game show.

Player Dan had definitely captured viewers' imaginations at home with his chiseled good looks, as he dropped jaws in a lilac and white striped polo shirt, with his muscles on prominent display.

But Dan failed to make the game show grade as he was knocked out with just £200 in his prize pot, after failing to secure the penalty pot counter.

Host Ben Shephard had quizzed the four players: "What number is added to two to make seven?"

The answer was five – but contestant Ronan got there first.

Emotional viewers took to Twitter to share their grief at Dan being the first to be kicked out, with one writing: "Question… why doesn't [the machine] ever let us keep the male eye candy on #TippingPoint?"

Another complained: "Today's one for the ladies makes an early exit," as someone else said: "Dan the man is out!" accompanied by a row of crying emojis.

And they were left even more baffled by the 'ridiculously' easy question which landed Dan in the bottom spot.

"Did I just hear the question as literally what is 5+2?" someone quizzed.

Another incredulous viewer said: "What number must be added to 2 to make a total of 7? F*** off ITV!"

And someone else giggled: "'What number has to be added to 2 to make 7?' Really? REALLY?!"

Tipping Point stunner Emma was the second to be knocked out, leaving Fliss and Ronan in the final head-to-head.

But Fliss had been having some incredible drops throughout the game, and managed to sneak through to the final to play for the much-coveted jackpot counter.

Many fans were still mourning the loss of Emma as Fliss got through to the final, with one posting: "Emma on #TippingPoint deserved much more for that question round!"

Someone else chipped in: "Come on Emma! I love those dimpled cheeks!"

Ronan managed to secure himself a helicopter ride before his own graceful exit, as he wrangled the mystery counter from the Tipping Point machine.

Fliss, meanwhile, wanted to fly her and her husband out to Australia to visit her cousin, who she hadn't seen in a while.

Ben cheekily suggested she'd be able to afford to travel business class if she managed to secure the £10,000 jackpot from the machine.
