A stroke of bad luck plagued an unfortunate Tipping Point contestant tonight (April 19) as fans claimed the player was “jinxed.”

Viewers couldn't help but feel sorry for Ronald, the retired artist from Gloucestershire, who failed in his pursuit of the jackpot prize.

Ronald took on the machine alongside George and Mandy under the watchful eye of host Ben Shepherd.

Thanks to new rules, the struggling contestant miraculously made it through round one—despite failing to bank a single penny.

As Ronald's disastrous performance continued in the following round, viewers watched in disbelief as he repeatedly missed the mark after a series of blunders.

Whether it was botching the buzzer timings or choosing the wrong drop zones for his counters, Ronald continued to answer questions wrong and hang on by a thread.

Stunned Fans turned to Twitter to discuss Ronald's plight, as he battled to secure more cash and a spot in the final round.

“Ronald McDonald isn’t having much luck,” said one viewer.

“Jeez Ronald. Knows nowt – then claims ‘just not my day’. Get more knowledge – that might help! #tippingpoint,” said another.

A third penned: “Ronald says "it's not my day" … I say" push the release button at the correct time "”

Another fan suggested he was jinxed from the start, adding: “I tipped Ronald to win at the beginning and I’ve definitely jinxed him! Sorry Ronald #tippingpoint

Ronald was finally able to land two counters for a total of £100 after his Q&A with host Ben, but was only able to answer two questions correctly.

Players George and Mandy went through to battle it out for a spot in the final round with Mandy having a daring lead.

She was victorious and took on the machine in hopes of taking home £10k.

After an impressive round Mandy offered up some great answers but was unable to land her jackpot counter, choosing to take home her £3200 prize.

Fans went on to dub her “lucky” after watching her drop her counters at bizarre times.

“Mandy's timing has to be the worst I have ever seen,” barked one fan.

“#TippingPoint Why do they all push the button so the counter ends up stuck upright like that with a chance of riding? If they pust when the slide is just going back it will hit the bottom on the away swing and fall straight flat. Source: My Partner is an arcade game addict!” said another.
