This Morning's Holly Willoughby manages not to laugh as 'fairy' says she's in threesome with troll and leprechaun

THIS Morning's Holly Willoughby managed not to laugh today as she interviewed a "fairy woman" who revealed she's dating a troll AND a leprechaun.

Holly, 39, and Phil, 58, chatted to real life 'princess fairy Lolly' who claimed to be in a polyamourous with two other "supernatural" men.

The trio said they'd found their "fairytale ending" by forming a three way romance in a bizarre interview with viewers left amazed that the presenters managed not to laugh.

Lolly appeared via video link with troll Gunther, who is six foot nine inches tall, and leprechaun Ion, who said both his parents hail from County Cork in Ireland.

Speaking from Seattle in the US, she told the presenters: "So yes, as a full time fairy it is my duty all the time to traipse about in the land of real and spread what fairy magic I can."

Phil asked her when she knew she was a fairy and Lolly said: "Many years ago, we don't like to count too much, you know how counting goes with time and fairies, we shall say it's been some time, since I was a youngling."

Lolly added: "We consider ourselves a closed family unit. When we first met I said this is how I am and I live and I am going toward my fairytale end and if you are going to be in on that it's all or nothing."

The bizarre segment made viewers wonder how Holly and Phil kept a straight face.

Another wrote: "I’m sorry but how does Phillip and Holly keep a straight face 🙈 #ThisMorning"

And one more tweeted: "Yesterday it was the tree hugger, today it's a fairy-tale throuple. Who's on tomorrow – a cloud psychic?"

Yesterday, viewers were left baffled when Holly and Phil were taught how to "hug a tree to bring happiness".

The pair were joined via video segment by Jim Tubbs Galley, who was educating viewers on what he called the "ultimate lockdown remedy".

The nature lover told the hosts that hugging trees was the "key to helping the spirit of loneliness", which makes it perfect amid the UK's third national lockdown.

Holly was on board immediately, telling green-bearded Jim: "I love a tree; they are solid structures, their roots go into the ground… They have been around forever so must hold a lot of energy."

The hypnotherapist then revealed that the presenter's name has strong earthy connections, explaining: "With your surname, Willow, that strength and balance – your name could mean that.

"Trees give off chemicals, they help people – it might seem silly at first but then they get a rush of good endorphins."
