The Chase star Jenny Ryan is unrecognisable as she poses for make-up free selfie

The Chase star Jenny Ryan has sent fans into meltdown by sharing a make-up free selfie online.

The 39-year-old quiz champion, otherwise known as The Vixen, logged into Twitter on Saturday to share a snap with her 94,000 followers.

In the natural photograph, she can be seen raising a glass of bubbly to her beloved football team Bolton Wanderers to celebrate their promotion to League One.

She penned: "It's been a long season… but finally WE ARE GOING UP! #BWFC."

Jenny looked completely different from her alter ego on the ITV quiz show as she ditched her voluminous hair for a more casual style.

While answering questions on The Chase, the Bolton beauty wears glam make-up and her dark red hair is positioned into a high bouffant style.

In her selfie she shared with fans on Twitter, her naturally lighter locks tumble loosely by her shoulders.

Unsurprisingly, Jenny's latest social media update caught the attention of her fans, with some rushing to comment on how different she looked.

One Twitter user gushed: "You need to go on The Chase in your natural form. You're beautiful in this picture."

Another added: "Omg who are you and what have you done with the Vixen. You look fabulous."

A third person typed: "Is it a wig you wear for tv? I like your hair like this too."

While a fourth person wrote: "You look stunning."

Jenny, who took part in the celebrity edition of The X factor in 2019, recently wowed fans with a selfie during her trip to London.

Wearing her gorgeous golden hair flowing past her shoulders teamed with a big pair of dazzling green sunglasses, The Vixen smiled at the camera as she posed in front of The Bank of England.

She could also be seen wearing a light blue outfit which is unusual compared to the dark clothing usually worn on the quiz show.
