Strictly fans distracted by Maisie Smith’s ‘peachy rear’ in skintight gym gear

Strictly 's Maisie Smith proved a strong contender on last night's (October 24) series debut, impressing viewers with her interpretation of the Samba.

However, watching from home, certain fans were a little distracted by the 19-year-old's toned physique – with her rear, in particular, drawing attention.

The EastEnders star, who plays Tiffany Butcher on the BBC One soap, is a proud gym bunny, regularly sharing workout snaps after toning her glutes on the weight machines.

Last night's episode saw Maisie take to the dance studio with her pro partner Gorka Marquez, 30, refining their samba technique under the studio's lights.

Wearing a pair of grey leggings and a lilac sports bra as she swayed across the studio with Gorka, it was Maisie's behind that attracted attention on Twitter.

One viewer penned: "That bottom!!! #Strictly."

"#Strictly Nice thong Tiffany!" exclaimed a second.

"Yess @maisie_smith_ Shake your thing girl!!" wrote a third.

However a fourth fan was more distracted by Gorka's rear-end, as they wrote: "Trying to watch Maisie but am transfixed by Gorka's bum."

In other news, Essex starlet Maisie sent Strictly fans into overdrive this week when she left a flirty comment under one of her co-stars Insta snaps.

HRVY, 21, is also taking part in the competition, and took a break from rehearsing to upload a buff shirtless snap to his feed.

Clearly impressed, Maisie commented below: "I think they were clapping coz they mistook u for 2009 JB."

Leading fans to speculate over a budding romance, HRVY replied: "@maisiemith #onelesslonelygirl."

Watching Maisie's performance last night, a number of viewers were convinced the coveted Glitterball trophy was in her grasp, thanks to her previous dance experience.

The teen soap star admitted she has trained in hip hop dancing before, branding herself as a "dark horse" in an interview on This Morning last month.

Watching Maisie and Gorka's performance, a number of viewers took to Twitter to predict their victory, with one penning: "Maisie is gonna win. Also mute #strictly if you don't wanna hear me go on about glitter from now Christmas."

"Calling it now, Maisie to win #Strictly this year," added a second.

While a third chimed: "I'm predicting Maisie and Gorka to win."
