This Morning took an awkward turn during Tuesday's episode, as host Phillip Schofield scolded his co-presenter Holly Willoughby.

The pair had been discussing the best dad jokes, one of which had won £100 in a competition, ahead of Father's Day next Sunday.

As Holly suggested: "I thought you should probably introduce this one," Phillip quickly turned to his counterpart.

"Oi! Shut your face!" he scolded her, as Holly descended into giggles.

"What? You're a dad!" she insisted, promising that she hadn't been taking a dig at Phil's sense of humour with the quip – but he was clearly offended by the implication.

Things got even more cringeworthy as they couldn't locate the winning joke, and had to cut to a break before it could be located.

"I can't even find it!" Phillip giggled as the presenters pored over a tablet full of dad jokes.

Eventually, though, the joke was located, and the £100 winner was this: "I just bought a limo and I was told it doesn't come with a driver.

"I can't believe I spent all that money and have nothing to chauffeur it."

Others included: "Why shouldn't you let Elsa [from Frozen] hold a balloon?

"Because she'll let it go."
