Petrified Lola can barely move after horrifying collapse in EastEnders

Lola Pearce’s (Danielle Harold) condition has been steadily declining in EastEnders, but she is set to face a major setback that leaves her horrified.

Last year, Lola was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour, and underwent treatment to prolong her life.

Unfortunately, it was recently revealed that the chemotherapy Lola had been having had stopped working, meaning that she only had six months left to live.

In recent scenes, Lola made the difficult decision to step back from work, realising that days spent in the salon were really taking it out of her.

In order to give her a proper send off, Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) decides to host a leaving party.

However, things soon become too much for Lola, who retreats outside for a breath of air.

A while later, some of the partygoers notice that Lola is missing, and grow concerned when they can’t find her.

Word of her disappearance soon spreads to husband Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) and ‘Pops’ Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) who frantically join the search, desperate to find her.

It is Billy who manages to track her down, finding her terrified on the floor outside the Gym.

They rush to get her home, where devastated Lola later discovers that her speech and mobility have been affected after her collapse.

Is her condition declining faster than she’d expected?

It was recently revealed that cast and crew have begun filming Lola’s funeral, meaning that the end is nearer than we may have initially thought.

Is this the beginning of the end for Lola?
