BIG Fat Gypsy Weddings star Paddy Doherty suspects his heavy drinking pushed him to have a heart attack.
The 62-year-old revealed he turned to booze to cope with his mum's dementia – and that may have landed him in hospital.
Paddy revealed on Monday he had been rushed into emergency care after suffering a heart attack.
Speaking from his hospital bed, the reality TV star said nurses had been "very worried" about him after his battle with Covid and pneumonia earlier this year, but he now felt "fantastic".
Later in the clip, the former bare knuckle boxer said he was "lucky" to be alive – and revealed what he thinks tipped him over the edge.
Paddy said: "You know what it is? It's just all the stress with my brother Martin [McDonagh], and my mother with the dementia.

Paddy's mum Elizabeth, known as Queenie, died in April 2018 less than a year after her husband of 60 years Simon passed away.
The mum-of-17 is understood to have died following a heart attack, though her family said it was from a "broken heart".
It is not clear what Paddy's mention of his brother refers to, but the pair brawled at a wake in 2014 after hurtful comments were made about Martin's late son.
Paddy was hospitalised following a heart attack on April 25.
Days later he thanked the NHS for taking good care of him, adding: "Without them, we wouldn't survive."
He then vowed to "be back stronger" before launching into an Arnold Schwarzenegger impression.
Paddy added: "I wouldn't say I'm great, but I'm getting there."
'I COULDN'T HANDLE IT'
To help him on the mend, the Celebrity Big Brother winner vowed to "stop drinking and messing about" after "doing things in life I shouldn't do".
"I had the beer too much," he said.
"I know what I've got to do now, enjoy my life the way I was enjoying my life."
"From me to you, take care, be lucky."
This week's hospital admission follows three emergency visits earlier this year – just weeks after battling Covid and pneumonia.
Paddy, who found himself on oxygen after breathing struggles "knocked him down for six", described his brush with the virus as his "hardest fight ever".
