The latest book in the Outlander series, Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone, is now available on shelves after its highly anticipated release this November. Soon to return to Starz and Prime Video as Diana Gabaldon’s rugged Scottish hero Jamie Fraser, Sam Heughan took to Twitter to celebrate the novel’s recent success.
Diana announced on Thursday that the ninth book in the Outlander series is once again at the top of the New York Times’ Bestseller List.
Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone has been topping charts since its publication on November 23.
Outlander fans are clearly going out in droves ahead of the premiere of Starz’ eagerly awaited sixth season of their acclaimed adaptation.
On her personal Twitter account, Diana posted: “Thanks to all our wonderful readers, BEES is [number one] AGAIN on the NYT Bestseller List!”
“(I actually thought everyone in the world who wanted one already bought it last week…).”
Jamie Fraser star Sam celebrated the news by retweeting Diana, adding: “Haha well done Gabs!!!!!”
Sam had previously announced he would be sharing something very exciting to his followers at some point on Thursday.
One of his fans asked: “Did you forget something?”
To which the star responded with a smirking emoji, hinting the secrets could soon be revealed.
In the meantime, Outlander fans have been celebrating the news of Diana’s latest book becoming another smash hit for the series.
‘Bees’ is the ninth and likely penultimate book in the projected ten-part saga.
Fans are keeping their fingers crossed for Starz to eventually cover all ten novels, with a seventh season currently in the works.

After Diana alleviated her concerns for the success of the novel, many readers assured her they had been buying multiple copies since Bees’ release.
Carol Harding replied: “You don’t think we only have the one copy do you?
“Hardback to savour, Kindle because the books are so big, Audible as we’re busy people and then there’s the ‘one to share’ for friends! Thanks Diana!”
And Heather Medina admitted: “I bought a signed copy from Poisoned Pen but it won’t be here until January so I bought another copy from Costco and gave it to my mom for an early Xmas.”
“I also bought it on Audible but I’m not even reading it yet.”
The ninth book in the series chronicles Jamie’s continued adventures in 18th Century America with time-traveller Claire Fraser (Caitriona Balfe).
When the adaptation returns to screens next year, Jamie and Claire face even more tough decisions as the Revolutionary War starts to close in on their home on Fraser’s Ridge.
Outlander season six premieres Sunday, March 6 on Starz and STARZPLAY.
