EastEnders legend Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) is refusing to be bullied by abuser Katy Lewis (Simone Lahbib), as he sets about getting justice ahead of the court case.
With the court case looming, the landlord of the Queen Vic attempts to write his victim impact statement.
He struggles to do so, but a visit from Nancy (Maddy Hill), who offers him some words of encouragement, does the trick, as she sets about finishing it.
Little does he know, however, Katy is standing outside the Vic.
Katy, of corse, has an agenda, as she wants daughter Frankie (Katy Lewis) to provide her with a character reference.
Frankie informs Shirley (Linda Henry) of Katy’s request, confirming that she turned her down.
However, it’s quite clear that the young woman is conflicted.
Mick, meanwhile, tells Linda (Kellie Bright) that he has to tell his truth, and read his own statement in court.
Nancy reminds him that once the court case is over, they can put everything behind him.
The patriarch of the Carter clan is determined to face his abuser, and ensure that she’s put away behind bars.
The question is: will Katy get punished for what she’s done?
