Who is in the cast of Mare of Easttown?

Detective Mare Sheehan- Kate Winslet

Mare of Easttown is the highly-anticipated drama series coming to HBO starring Academy Award, Emmy and Golden Globe winner Kate Winslet.

Winslet stars as Detective Mare Sheehan, a small-town Pennslyviann detective who investigates a local murder.

Winslet is best known for her role as Rose in Titanic and Iris in The Holiday.

She is also well known for playing Hanna Schmitz in The Reader and Jeanine Matthews in Divergent.

Lori Ross – Julianne Nicholson

The Outsider’s Julianne Nicholson plays Lori Ross, Mare’s best friend in Mare of Easttown.

Nicholson is best known for her role as Detective Megan Wheeler in Law and Order: Criminal Intent

She has also appeared in HBO’s Boardwalk Empire and Masters of Sex.

Nicholson also starred as Ivy in the film adaption of August: Osage County.

Detective Colin Zabel – Evan Peters

American Horror Story’s Evan Peters plays Mare’s partner, Detective Colin Zabel.

Mare of Easttown viewers will also likely recognise Peters as Stan Bowes in Pose and Peter Maximoff/Quicksilver in X-Men.

Peters will portray serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer in Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.

His other credits include WandaVision, The Office and Criminal Minds.

Richard Ryan – Guy Pierce

Guy Pearce takes on the role of Richard Ryan, a local creative writing professor.

Pierce is well known for his role as Mike Young in Neighbours and Halvorson in The Innocents.

His other credits include A Christmas Carol When We Rise and Jack Irish.

Pierce has also appeared in the films Back to the Outback, Zone 414 and Without Remorse.

Smart is best known for her role as Agent Laurie Blake in Watchmen and Mimi in Arrested Development.

Angourie Rice takes on the role of Mare’s daughter Siobhan in Mare of Easttown.

Rice is an up and coming Australian actor best known for her roles in These Final Hours and The Nice Guys.
