Katie Price pictured in a wheelchair after breaking both of her feet after horror accident

KATIE Price has been pictured in a wheelchair after breaking both of her feet in a horror accident.

The 42-year-old star has confirmed that she won't walk for three to six months after she consulted with doctors today.

The former glamour model suffered the fractures while on holiday in Turkey with new boyfriend Carl Woods, and her children Junior, 15, and 13-year-old Princess.

Taking to Instagram today, Katie could be seen in a wheelchair as she begged fans for help finding a mobility scooter upon her return to the UK.

Dressed in a light blue top and tiny denim shorts, Katie looked as though she was in pain as she showed off both of her legs in casts.

She asked fans: "Does anybody know or can someone get in contact where I can hire a mobility scooter and a wheelchair that I can use when I get back?

"I'm not going to be able to walk – doctors have confirmed three to six months, or it could be longer.

"So I need to get round on a mobility scooter and a wheelchair, let me know."

The Sun Online revealed yesterday that Katie had broken both feet on holiday.

The mother-of-five was rushed to A&E in Turkey and is now preparing to fly home for an emergency operation.

She fractured both heels jumping off a wall at theme park Land of Legends and faces months of agony as she battles her way to recovery.

Doctors have warned Katie she will need pins in her feet and won't be able to walk for a minimum of three months – though the recovery period could be twice that.

A source close to the star told us: "This is the worst thing that could have happened to Katie.

"She has spent all night in A&E in agony with a hairline crack through both of her heels.

"The pain is excruciating – but she has a bigger nightmare to come, trying to look after five children while unable to walk."

Katie later posted the picture of her bandaged feet to Instagram, writing at the time: "Yes it’s true I have broken my ankles and my feet , I have to have both feet operated on and pins put in been told I won’t be able to walk for 3 to 6 months."

She then heaped praise on her Love Island beau for his support, adding: "@carljwoods is being amazing looking after me ❤️❤️ #reallove #bestgentleman #wordscantdecribemyloveforhim #hismyworld🌍"

The disaster came just one day after Katie and Carl were seen looking loved-up on the romantic break in Turkey – and had previously been excited to go abroad with the hunk for their first holiday together.

It has been a terrible year for Katie with her eldest son Harvey, 18, being rushed into intensive care and hospitalised for ten days.

And last week, she was left devastated when Princess's dog Rolo died in a tragic accident at home.
