James Bond introduced one of its raciest ever Bond Girls in GoldenEye with the arrival of Dutch actress Famke Janssen’s character Xenia Onatopp. Following the tradition of double entrendre names for 007’s female opponents and conquests, she appeared mostly in all-black dominatrix-style attire.
In one eye-popping picture, she rolls around on the floor of a steam room with a scantily-clad Bond (played by Pierce Brosnan) as they engage in a violent confrontation mixed with a side order of flirtation.
Meanwhile, a posed picture on the set sees her dressed in a black leather look and a low-cut top which puts her cleavage on full display.
Xenia Onatopp was one of General Ourumov’s (played by Gottfried John) henchwomen in the 1995 movie, helping him to steal launch codes and the key to the GoldenEye satellite.
After successfully obtaining them, the fighter pilot set the satellite to destroy the Severnaya Space Control Centre.

Onataopp was known for her trademark thigh-grip, which she utilised in multiple run-ins with Bond.
The archetypal femme fatale, she got a sexual kick out of killing, leading to some rather racy scenes.
One memorable fight between Onatopp and Bond takes place in the sauna at his hotel, The St. Petersburg Grand.
After arranging to meet at the pool, Bond catches her sneaking around and throws her into the steam room.
What follows is a tense exchange of flirting and violence, with Onatopp trying to seduce 007, kissing him and biting his lip before he hurls her against the wall and she crushes him between her legs.
Of course, Bond emerges victorious, reaching for his gun and putting an end to the confrontation.
Onatopp met her end after ambushing Bond in Cuba, winding up crushed to death by her own safety harness after he connects it with the rope dangling from a helicopter and shoots the chopper down.
After the Bond Girl’s body goes limp where she lies, caught in the fork of the branches of a tree where she was dragged by the helicopter’s crash, Bond quips: “She always did enjoy a good squeeze.”

GoldenEye was the first Bond film to star Brosnan as the iconic spy.
It proved a big success at the box office and got good reviews from critics.
Brosnan went on to appear in a further three 007 movies: Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough and Die Another Day.
Daniel Craig later took over the role in 2005.
Craig is now the longest-serving Bond actor in history, having played the part for over 14 years, beating Roger Moore’s previous record.
He will bow out of the franchise later this year following the release of his fifth and final film No Time To Die.
The upcoming 25th Bond movie was delayed by seven months, with bosses pushing the release date back due to the coronavirus outbreak.
No Time To Die is released in UK cinemas November 12.
