Celebrate the changing of the seasons with Gilmore Girls. Fans of the series are up for watching the TV show any time of year but the program’s fall episodes really shine. Get all the fall feels watching these Gilmore Girls episodes.

‘Gilmore Girls’ Season 3 Episode 9: ‘A Deep Fried Korean Thanksgiving’

Pumpkins, changing leaves, and four Thanksgiving dinners. Get all that and more in this episode of Gilmore Girls

Rory (Alexis Bledel) and Lorelai (Lauren Graham) Gilmore have four dinners to attend on Thanksgiving Day. Their solution to survive the enormous amount of food is to skip the rolls.

Rory and Lorelai visit Lane (Keiko Agena) and Mrs. Kim (Emily Kuroda) and eat turkey made of tofu aka Tofurkey. They stop by Luke’s Diner for a turkey dinner and extra marshmallows with Luke Danes (Scott Patterson) and Jess Mariano (Milo Ventimiglia).

They console Sookie St. James (Melissa McCarthy) when she realizes Jackson Belleville (Jackson Douglas) is going to deep fry her organically grown turkey. Finally, Rory and Lorelai head to Richard (Edward Herrmann) and Emily Gilmore’s (Kelly Bishop) house for yet another Thanksgiving dinner.

Highlights include Kirk Gleason (Sean Gunn) adopting a vicious cat, Lane and Dave Rygalski (Adam Brody) kissing, and Sookie drinking beer at a picnic table.

Gilmore Girls Season 1 Episode 7: ‘Kiss and Tell’

Rory has her first kiss with Dean Forester (Jared Padalecki) and shoplifts corn starch. Her and Lane talk about the kiss while wearing pilgrim costumes at the Autumn Festival’s Cornucopia Can Drive. And Dean comes over to the Gilmore house for movie night with Lorelai and Rory.

All throughout the episode, there are nods to fall. The town square in Stars Hollow is decked out with hay bales and pumpkins. And of course, there are changing leaves on the trees.

‘Gilmore Girls’ Season 4 Episode 9: ‘Ted Koppel’s Big Night Out’

Fall means football. Lorelai and Rory aren’t fans but they do have a tailgating experience on Gilmore Girls

Lorelai and Rory tailgate the Harvard-Yale football game with Emily and Richard. Having attended Yale, Richard is especially excited about sharing the experience with Rory. He sings the Yale fight song and shares that he once spent an entire month in college wearing nothing but a tie.

Meanwhile, Rory and Lorelai are surprised to learn they enjoy tailgating. Plus, it doesn’t hurt Richard and Emily have an extravagant set up for the big game complete with hired help and a bloody mary bar.

‘Gilmore Girls’ Season 1 Episode 2: ‘The Lorelais’ First Day At Chilton’

Fall means football, pumpkins, and the start of a new school year. Get in the fall mood by watching Rory experience her first day at Chilton.

Lorelai oversleeps — her fuzzy clock doesn’t purr on time — and she’s forced to wear denim cutoff shorts, a tie-dye t-shirt, and cowboy boots to take Rory to school.

Unbeknownst to her, she’s not just dropping Rory off. She has to meet the headmaster. Another surprise? Emily shows up for the meeting and scolds Lorelai for her laundry day outfit.
