Emmerdale’s Harriet corpse horror, Nate and Liam affair twist and baby heartache

Television fans might be gearing up to discover what their favourite soap has in store for Christmas, but Emmerdale is keeping the drama going until the big festive episodes.

Next week, Emmerdale spoilers reveal some big storylines for Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton), Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter), Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson), Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) and Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson).

There's a mix of dark scenes, some tongue in cheek moments and what is sure to be a difficult watch when Laurel and Jai are forced to make the toughest decision any parent could make.

Here's what's to come next week in the sleepy village.

Baby heartache

It's a sad week for Laurel and Jai after they make their decision to terminate their pregnancy.

Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) soon reaches out and makes amend for their fall-out when Laurel makes an admission.

She goes home and tells the kids that she's going to end the pregnancy.

When Laurel and Jai head to the appointment, Gabby (Rosie Bentham) talks to Arthur (Alfie Clarke) about supporting the couple.

Nate and Liam affair twist

Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) is desperate to get Liam and Leyla (Roxy Shahidi) back together so comes up with a plan.

She ropes Nate in on it, asking him to get Liam round for a beer.

But when David (Matthew Wolfenden) jokes it must be a date, Liam starts to question Nate's intentions.

And when Nate answers the door in his boxers, Liam is completely thrown.

Things start to go wrong when Liam begins to wonder if Nate has a crush on him.

Soon, Tracy and Leyla return and it looks like Tracy might have completely blown it between Leyla and Liam.

Harriet corpse horror

Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) is concerned about Harriet when they get news that the exhumation is going ahead.

Harriet tries to persuade the woman wanting it done to change her mind, but to no avail.

Soon they realise they're going to have to move Malone's body and Will comes up with a plan.

He suggests they move the corpse to a secluded plot at Home Farm.

The next day, under the cover of night, Will digs Malone's new grave.

Meanwhile, Harriet has to deliver a carol service but is distracted as she can't stop thinking about what Will's up to.

Will he be able to move the body?

Or will Harriet be unable to hide her guilty any more?
