Debbie Dingle (played by Charley Webb) left for Scotland with father Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) in Emmerdale after discovering Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) had exposed her fraud plot and tried to seduce Al Chapman (Michael Wildman). However, ITV soap fans were left confused as Debbie’s son Jack was nowhere to be seen as the pair drove off into the distance.
In tonight’s double-bill, Al played recorded Charity telling him how Debbie stole from Kim Tate (Claire King) and framed the love rat.
After playing the recording in front of Charity, Kim, Debbie and Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter), the horrified daughter turned again her mum.
“I don’t even know why I’m surprised,” Debbie told Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley).
“I stopped being surprised a long time ago,” he replied and she added: “How can she never learn?”

“I’ve stopped asking that makes life easier,” Cain remarked.
“What are you going to do?” Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) asked and her mum replied: “I’ll tell you what I want to do, I want to get out of here.
“My boyfriend is living another life and my mum throws herself at him so welcome home Debbie. I can’t keep doing this.”
“I know how much this is doing your head in. I don’t want you hanging around being miserable because of me why don’t you go away for a little bit, I’ll be fine,” the schoolgirl said.
“The garage in Scotland needs a manager sorting. You could go up there and get some space. I could go as well it’s a long time since I had a break, it would do us both some good,” Cain suggested.
Later, Sarah and Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) waved goodbye to Debbie and Cain while Charity looked on.
“I can’t believe you’re going again,” Sarah said and her mum replied: “Well it’s not going to be forever.”
“But for how long?” Noah asked and Debbie explained: “Look all I’m doing is going back to Scotland to find a manager for the garage and I’ll be back.”

“I hope you’re happy she’s leaving because of you,” Sarah said to Charity.
“As far as she’s concerned Belle’s in charge, she’s going to move into mine and you don’t get a say in any aspect of my life or theirs. We only speak if we absolutely have to,” Debbie quipped to her mum.
However, Emmerdale fans questioned why Debbie’s son Jack was nowhere to be seen.
One tweeted: “I’ve just thought, where the hell is Jack???!!!! (Debbie’s son) #Emmerdale.”
“Um, where is Debbie’s son Jack #emmerdale,” another remarked.
Someone else said: “Has Debbie ever made a good romantic choice? Also, where is Jack? #Emmerdale.”
“Where is Debbie’s son? Have they forgot about Jack? #Emmerdale,” a fourth added.
Emmerdale airs weekdays on ITV at 7pm.
