Doctor red-faced as sex message pops up during recording of GB News interview

A recording of a doctor's GB News interview has gone viral after a sex message from WhatsApp flashed up on screen.

Dr Samuel White spoke to presenter Patrick Christys on Sunday (December 5) about the government's latest response to the spread of the Omicron Covid variant.

A clip of the interview, which appeared to have been recorded on a phone, was quickly posted to his website soon after being aired.

But it was soon clear whoever uploaded it had been slightly too hasty.

The video shows Dr White airing his views about the government’s response to the coronavirus crisis when the embarrassing message pops up.

From an individual named “Suzy Sub”, the WhatsApp text reads: “As you rest just give a thought to using me for your pleasure.

“Having me on my knees doing whatever you say… xxx”

Dr White’s website was taken offline after the clip was re-posted on Twitter, where it quickly went viral.

It has since been removed from the site.

A spokesman for Dr White told Indy100 that the clip had been uploaded to Dr White’s website by hackers.

Broadcaster Jon Gaunt, who sat alongside Dr White for his GB News interview, has since shared the clip to his social media, saying: “Oh dear, someone forgot to turn their WhatsApp off. This is very funny.”

On Twitter, one viewer wrote: “That has to be the funniest thing I’ve seen on Twitter by some distance.”

Another commented: “That’s never going to get old.”

And a third added: “F*** off, is that legit? hahahah. Amazing, absolutely amazing.”

Dr White had been told to stop discussing coronavirus on social media after he had expressed concerns about vaccines and claimed “masks do nothing”.

The General Medical Council's Interim Orders Tribunal then imposed restrictions on Dr White's registration as a GP as a result.

But the High Court has since said the decision was “wrong” under human rights law.
