Coronation Street 's Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) will be leaving the cobbles after losing her son Oliver Battersby in devastating scenes.
Oliver, who was diagnosed with mitochondrial disease, passed away in hospital after being taken off his life support machine.
Leanne had been battling for months to try and convince the hospital to keep Oliver alive and to find a cure, but she finally decided to let him die.
The breaking point was when the doctors revealed Oliver had begun bleeding into his own breathing tube after being resuscitated.
Whilst Leanne remained determined to continue her bitter legal battle, Steve managed to convince Leanne to let him die peacefully.
Corrie fans will see Leanne pack her bags and tell Nick that she is going to stay with Eva in France, leaving him devastated.
The pair recently split after Leanne realised he didn't support her efforts in trying to keep Oliver alive.
To make Leanne's heartbreak worse, she now has to face Nick (Ben Price) having a son, Sam, with his ex Natasha Blakeman, who he never knew about.
As everything becomes too much for her, Leanne decides she needs a fresh start, and tells Toyah she needs to be away from reminders about Oliver.
Natasha brings Sam to see Nick to apologise for crashing Oliver's memorial but they're left shocked to hear Leanne has left him and is moving away.
Sam decides to try and intervene and sends Leanne a message from Nick's phone.
Later, Leanne is stunned when she receives the voicemail message, and is even more taken aback when Sam presents her with a list of things he thinks could make her like him.
Could Sam do enough to convince Leanne to stay in the cobbles, or is it too little too late for the grieving mum?
Corrie continues on Monday at 7.30pm on ITV.
