CORONATION Street star Sam Aston has attended his first antenatal class with his pregnant fiancee Briony Gardner.
The Chesney Brown actor, 27, confirmed he was having a baby boy in May with his wife of one year.
The couple uploaded photos from the antenatal class, showing Sam in a grey hoodie with black jeans.
Briony, meanwhile, wore a black jumper showing off her huge baby bump, with blue trousers. They both wore masks.
They captioned the pic: "We got the chance to see our gorgeous boy in a 4D scan today.
"Thank you so much @preciousglimpse you can't see because of our masks but we haven't stopped smiling."
Both uploaded a photo of Briony's baby bump with an antenatal course manual.
They captioned this pic: "Loved last nights online antenatal course. Cheers for all the info and help @happyparents.happybaby."
As well as: "First antenatal class tonight @happyparents.happybaby"
The couple previously revealed they had only been trying for a baby for four or five weeks before falling pregnant.
Speaking to OK! Sam said: "We’re having a boy! It was a massive surprise when we found out, as there are loads of girls in our families, so we were adamant we were having a girl."
Briony added: "We found out the day before lockdown. Sam couldn’t come with me because of the current rules, so I got the consultant to write the sex on a piece of paper and put it in an envelope and we both then sat in the car and opened it together. We were over the moon."
Sam, who has eight siblings, said one child is "perfect for now" and, referencing his Corrie alter-ego, joked: "I’m glad it’s not quads."
He and on-screen partner Gemma Winter have their hands full with baby quadruplets, and Sam admitted handling babies on set has given him more confidence for when his own child is born.
Sam and yoga instructor Briony, 25, got married last year, two years after announcing their engagement.
They exchanged their vows – and did a yoga-themed first dance – in front of friends, family members and his soap co-stars at Stock Farm in Cheshire.
