CORONATION Street’s Yasmeen Nazir will be devastated when Imran fails to get her bail at her hearing for the attempted murder of Geoff Metcalfe.
Yasmeen bottled abusive Geoff in self-defence last week on the ITV soap after he launched at her with a knife – and is set to be arrested for his attempted murder in upcoming scenes.

Corrie fans have watched in horror as Yasmeen has been cut off from her friends and family, belittled and abused by Geoff for over a year in the soap's hard-hitting coercive control plot.
Geoff's abuse came to a nasty head last week when he watched her pack a bag to leave him on his hidden security camera.
After cruelly forcing her to open the cupboard door where she’d kept her bag, he merrily marched into the garden and burnt her belongings in a bin.
Later in the week, Geoff launched at Yasmeen with a knife during a furious showdown.
Yasmeen – confused and starved – lashed out at Geoff with a bottle in self-defence and slashed his neck with shards of glass when it broke in her hand.
Episodes of Corrie set to air this week will see Yasmeen terrified in prison as she’s charged with attempted murder, while Alya rushes around the cobbles trying to get their friends and family to believe that Yasmeen was the victim of domestic abuse.
Next week’s episodes of Coronation Street will see Yasmeen tremble in her boots as the day of her bail hearing arrives.

Meanwhile, Alya calls at the Rovers and tells Sean that her grandmother was the victim of domestic abuse at the hands of Geoff.
But will anyone believe her?
The Sun exclusively revealed that Yasmeen would be charged with attempted murder back in March 2020 and that she’d be put through hell as she struggles to get anyone to believe the cruelty she’s suffered at the hands of Geoff.
