Coronation Street spoilers: Geoff Metcalfe abuse exposed as he makes major slip up?

Great Big Lockdown Survey: Tell us what life’s like for you by answering THESE questions

Tonight’s instalment of Coronation Street saw Geoff (played by Ian Bartholomew) push his wife to the edge as he starved her, humiliated her in an ill-fitting dress he bought for an escort, and then told her no one would care if she was dead whilst waving a knife in her face. It all became too much for Yasmeen (Shelley King) as she hit her husband over the head with a wine bottle before pushing it into his neck.

Yasmeen was left horrified as Geoff collapsed on the floor and next week, viewers will see her believe she is to blame for the whole situation.

The Speed Daal chef will be charged for attacking her husband and it is yet to be revealed if Geoff survives or dies.

Her granddaughter Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) will try to convince Yasmeen to tell the truth about Geoff’s abuse and reveal what has really been going on to her neighbours.

However, it looks as though Yasmeen’s neighbours, including Geoff’s son Tim (Joe Duttine), will turn on her.

Fortunately for Yasmeen, if Geoff does wake up and act like the victim so his wife ends up in jail while he enjoys life in her home and spending her money, there could be a way to expose her husband.

Fans will remember Geoff put cameras in their home so he could keep a watchful eye over his wife while he was out shopping, at the pub or at Speed Daal.

Yasmeen is yet to discover the hidden cameras but if police were to search her home, could they find them?

Alya will also be keen to do what she can to help Yasmeen so could go digging for evidence of Geoff taking controlling of the finances.

As she searches the home for evidence against Geoff, could she find the cameras?

Fans are certain Geoff will be the one to expose his own abuse by either dying or not being able to get out of hospital to take down the cameras.

Taking to Twitter to comment on tonight’s episode, viewers theorised: “Does anyone remember when Geoff had that secret camera filming Yasmeen hopefully it recorded all the times he was being horrible to her as evidence against her #Corrie.”

Another tweeted: “Here’s hoping someone finds that hidden camera that Geoff planted! #Corrie.”
