Casualty spoilers: Will prepares to leave the ED – but will Fenisha go with him?

It’s Will (Jack Nolan)’s last day in the ED in Casualty and he has to have an exit interview with Connie Beauchamp (Amanda Mealing). He tells her in no uncertain terms why he feels he has to go.

He’s angry, exhausted and disillusioned – but when the pressure is on, Will demonstrates just why he’s going to be such a loss to the ED.

As Will ponders his decision, Charlie (Derek Thompson) is on hand to offer some of his trademark wisdom.

Will also has unfinished business with Fenisha (Olivia D’Lima). Remembering how they used to talk about going travelling together and having adventures, Will begins to wonder whether it’s not too late to have yet another go at rekindling their romance and getting her to go with him.

Will she be tempted to leave the hospital with him? And how will he feel when he discovers that she’s still pregnant with Ethan (George Rainsford)’s baby?

Jan (Di Botcher)’s police officer wife Ffion (Stirling Gallacher) interrupts a violent crime taking place that lands more than one casualty in the ED. Is Ffion in danger?

The unfolding situation gives Robyn (Amanda Henderson) the chance to use her people skills, but when the situation escalates and there’s violence in the ED it’s another member of staff who’s caught in the crossfire.

Rash (Neet Mohan)’s love life seems to have taken an upturn when attractive ITU consultant Enalia Thakur (Alice Hoskyns) appears in the ED. It seems that she likes him too, but an insecure Rash finds it hard to actually ask her out on a date. Will he find the confidence to take the risk?

And Ethan realises that he still has feelings for Fenisha – but as Will offers her the chance of a life away from Holby, has Ethan left it too late to tell her how he really feels?

Sue Haasler is the author of five novels and the official BBC Holby City book, which you can read about here.
