129 Channel 4 viewers have taken their grievances to the broadcasting regulator Ofcom after Breastfeeding My Boyfriend aired last week – October 25.

The regulator has said: "Viewers objected to the premise of this programme, and scenes within it."

The controversial programme saw Lanna Michaels and her fiancé Shawn, who had struck up a romance after meeting on a vegan dating app.

Lanna and Shaw found that they were able to connect on a deeper level through breastfeeding.

They had hoped that appearing on the programme together to explain their emotional bond would shake off the taboo of adult breastfeeding.

However, their plan seemed to have backfired – according to those who took to social media to air their thoughts.
