Alesha Dixon shared a witty hand-written note from her Britain's Got Talent co-stars Ant and Dec this afternoon, revealing they sent her a copy of their new book.
Marking 30 years in the showbiz industry, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly released their new memoir, Once Upon A Tyne, last week.
Filled with photos and anecdotes from their presenting career together, Ant and Dec decided to gift the book to their nearest and dearest after publication.
The comedy duo sent BGT host Alesha a book of her own, though the accompanying note left the 41-year-old laughing.
It read: "Dear Alesha.
"Thanks for being part of over 30 years on TV! Here's a free copy. Please don't sell it on eBay. With love as always."
The songstress joined the cast of BGT back in 2012, and proved an instant hit with viewers, as she cast her opinions on acts with fellow judges Amanda Holden, David Williams, and Simon Cowell.
Alesha, Ant, and Dec are set to reunite this weekend, as the BGT live shows hit our screens on Saturday night.
In the wake of the Covid pandemic, new measures have been put in place to protect the cast and crew, including an extended judging table and a virtual audience.
Ahead of the return to set, Alesha confessed the celeb presenters had been texting each other, looking forward to their much-anticipated reunion.
She said: "I've been looking forward to getting back to BGT. We've all been texting each other saying how much we've all missed each other and just genuinely can't wait to work together again.
"In a way, it almost makes it even more special to be doing the show."
Alesha added: "I remember when BGT went out, at that time we all thought, ‘Wow, this is what people need. They need a bit of silliness and a bit of fun.' At that time, it was all doom and gloom in the country. When the show came on, it was like, ‘Oh, this is a nice little treat on a Saturday night.'
"Now I kind of feel, again, going into the semi-final shows, people need that little pick me up, a bit of joy and some light, you know?"
Britain's Got Talent airs on Saturdays at 8pm on ITV.
