A Place in the Sun’s Laura Hamilton shut down over property by ‘angry’ guests

Laura Hamilton looked a bit put out when guests on A Place In The Sun were so "angry" about the property she showed them that they left mid-viewing.

The Channel 4 show was back on Monday, November 16, and followed guests Angie and Neelesh who were looking for a dream apartment in Estepona, Spain.

Unfortunately, it got off to a very bad start when Laura showed the couple around a townhouse next to a busy road.

The four-bedroom home had a beautiful rooftop terrace with sea views and was on the market for just over £227,000.

"You look really angry with me," Laura said nervously as she showed them around.

Hoping the sea view would lighten his temper, she was left disappointed.

Explaining his issues, Neelash told her: "That is stunning and I definitely won't complain about that. The view is great… and that's where it stops."

"I think the patio is small as well," Angie added.

Angie said she was "grateful" to have visited the townhouse, but only wanted to look at apartments from now on.

Defeated, Laura said: "Do you want to look around the rest of the property or do you want to say, 'Laura, we want to see an apartment?'"

The couple hastily left the "small" house and went on to have an offer accepted on a new two-bed flat in Manilva, part of the highly desirable Costa del Sol.

Laura has previously had to deal with unhappy guests demanding to leave a house early – like when Geoff and his sister Jackie turned down a place in Adra with mountain views.

Meanwhile, a guest started crying in another episode when Laura said they might not get everything they wanted – including a swimming pool – for a mere £200,000.

And a jammy woman managed to pick up a gorgeous holiday home for just £20,500 after opting for a little-known resort in Bulgaria.
