Kate and Will Might Have a Calling as Bingo Hosts After Game Night With Care Home Residents

William and Kate can add another skill to the list of things they’re great at: bingo calling. On Wednesday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge surprised residents and their care workers at Shire Hall Care Home in Cardiff, England, by virtually hosting a game of bingo.

Before the game began, Will and Kate spoke with three of the care workers to see how they were coping at work. “How have you and the team managed to look after yourselves and your own mental health, because obviously you’re doing a lot more hours and you’re a lot more involved,” Will asked. “The morale in the home is lovely,” the workers replied, although they did mention that the PPE they’re required to wear is very hot.

The royal couple got enthusiastically involved in a game of bingo, calling out numbers like pros. Will then asked one of the residents (and the winner of the game), Joan Drew-Smith, “How did we do at bingo? We did OK?” to which she replied, “Very good. Wasn’t as good as it should have been.” This lead to giggles from the duke and duchess and the other residents and staff.

Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Announce Instagram Break To Focus On ‘New Chapter’

We won’t be seeing Meghan Markle and Prince Harry online for a little while!

For those who have been keeping up with the Sussexes, you’re likely aware by now that Megxit officially goes into place on Tuesday, nearly two months after the pair first made the bombshell announcement that they would be taking a step back from their senior roles in the royal family.

While we already figured they’d be laying low, at least for a bit, they’re taking a full on Instagram hiatus!!

On Monday morning, it was announced via their @SussexRoyal IG page:

“As we can all feel, the world at this moment seems extraordinarily fragile. Yet we are confident that every human being has the potential and opportunity to make a difference—as seen now across the globe, in our families, our communities and those on the front line—together we can lift each other up to realise the fullness of that promise.

What’s most important right now is the health and wellbeing of everyone across the globe and finding solutions for the many issues that have presented themselves as a result of this pandemic.”

Referencing their impending “new chapter,” the twosome went on (see the full post HERE) to explain — in so many words — they’ll be taking a break from the online world:

“As we all find the part we are to play in this global shift and changing of habits, we are focusing this new chapter to understand how we can best contribute.

While you may not see us here, the work continues.

Thank you to this community – for the support, the inspiration and the shared commitment to the good in the world. We look forward to reconnecting with you soon. You’ve been great!

Until then, please take good care of yourselves, and of one another.

Harry and Meghan”

We can assume it has something to do with their official exit date from their royal roles as they figure out logistics related to that, but it could also be related to their recent move from Canada to Los Angeles!

Either way, we’re definitely intrigued!! And we’ll keep you posted when, and if, they return. Especially because they could be coming back with a whole new Insta handle after the back and forth related to their intended use of “Sussex Royal” branding.

Thoughts, Perezcious readers?? When do U think we’ll be seeing them next?!

Meghan Markle, Prince Harry Officially Move To Los Angeles: Reports

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have officially relocated back to the Duchess of Sussex’s hometown of Los Angeles, People magazine reported on Thursday.

Citing an anonymous source, the outlet said the Sussexes are living in a “secluded compound and haven’t ventured out amid the coronavirus pandemic.”

The couple and their son, Archie, were living on Vancouver Island following their announcement in January that they were stepping back from their royal duties, a change that officially begins on March 31.

In February, People was the first to report that the Sussexes were looking in Los Angeles, while reality star Caitlyn Jenner let it slip that the royals were seen shopping around for houses in Malibu. Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, still lives in LA.

HuffPost spoke with Lainey Lui, a Canadian television host and co-founder of LaineyGossip.com, in February regarding reports that Harry and Meghan were moving to LA.

She explained why the city could be the perfect spot for the couple since they really stood out on Vancouver Island, where it wasn’t “common to see celebrities walking around.”

“When they ended up there and the world found out about it, they became a heat score,” she told HuffPost at the time. “You stand out. And so, the paparazzi knew exactly where they were staying on Vancouver Island. They knew where there were nearby hiking trails. So there weren’t a lot of places for them to hide.”

“In LA, though, where celebrities have perfected the art of disappearing when they need to and reappearing when they need to, and the whole town is so set up to cater to celebrity needs, they might have an easier time going underground,” Lui added.

Disney confirmed the duchesses’ first post-royal gig on Thursday: narrating a new documentary, “Elephant,” which follows an elephant family’s 1,000-mile journey across Africa. The program will be available for streaming on Disney Plus on April 3.

The U.K. Times was the first to report in January that the duchess was doing a voiceover deal with Disney in exchange for a donation to Elephants Without Borders.
