Boy, 9, weeps with joy at first McDonald’s meal after months of lockdown – The Sun

HEARTWARMING footage shows a nine-year-old breaking down in tears as his mother surprises him with his first McDonald's since the start of Singapore's lockdown.

Mum Wati filmed herself showing Adam Bin Mohammad Irwan, who has autism, a table laden with food from the chain after weeks stuck at home.

The clip opens with Atwi sat in her car and saying to the camera: "Hello guys.

"I'm [getting] McDonald's. It's a surprise!"

She buys the food and conceals it in plastic bags, though jokes: "I think the smell will give it away".

She then leads Adam through the home and into the dining room.

Adam initially thinks his mum is playing a prank, so begins to run around the table and shriek before spotting the food.

He then begins to cry before running back and giving his mum a hug.

"I thought you wanted to scare me," he says.

"I didn't want to scare you!" she says.

"I wanted to surprised you. Look, what is it?"

"McDonald's," he says.

Adam is then seen eating from a box of chicken nuggets.

Wati later shared the video to Facebook, where it has been viewed over 73,000 times.

Reacting to the clip, one user wrote: "This boy's genuine reaction is enough to move anyone's heart."

She said that McNuggets with fries and ice cream was Adam's favourite meal, adding that his "overreaction" was caused by his sensory sensitivity and mild autism.

Lockdown was first imposted in Singapore on April 7, and all McDonald's outlets have been closed since April 19.

'Counting On': 9 Times Jinger Duggar Proved She Is the Biggest Rebel in the Duggar Family

Counting On star Jinger Duggar has always been viewed as the rebel of the Duggar family. Over the years, she has blatantly ignored some of her father, Jim Bob Duggar’s, strictest rules and continues to forge her own path now that she is living in Los Angeles with her husband, Jeremy Vuolo. From her dreams of living in a big city to her decision to wait to have children, here are 9 times that Jinger proved she is the ultimate Duggar rebel.

9. Jinger has always dreamed big

When fans first met Jinger on 19 Kids and Counting, shealways talked about breaking away from her humble roots. This includes herdream to become a photographer. Although Jinger has yet to take formal classeson the subject, she has shown off her photography skills on social media onmore than one occasion.

8. Jinger Duggar rebels in the most fashionable way possible

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have a bunch of rules for their children, and some of those edicts determine what they are allowed to wear. But Jinger has continued to flaunt these rules on social media, regardless of what her parents teach.

This includes wearing dresses that show off her shoulders androcking jeans. In a recent post on Instagram, Jinger even wore a pair of rippedjeans, which is about as rebellious as it gets for the Duggars.

7. Jeremy has a unique background

Most of the Duggars have married people who share a similarbackground and belief system. Jinger, however, is the exception to the rule.

Jinger’s husband, Jeremy, used to play soccer at a professionallevel. According to CafeMom, during his days on the field, Jeremy partied hard and had lotsof girlfriends. He has since turned things around and is on the same page as Jinger, but he is still very different from the rest of the Duggar spouses.

6. The big move to Texas

Jinger has always talked about her desire to move to a big city, and she took a major step towards that goal when she and Jeremy moved toLaredo, Texas. Although they did not move to a major big city, it was still farenough away from Jim Bob and Michell to matter.

5. Jinger Duggar waited to have children

Most of the Duggars have children right away, but Jinger and Jeremy waited over a year before they started a family of their own. That has led many Counting On fans to speculate that Jinger was on birth control, something even she has never confessed.

4. Felicity was born in a hospital

Speaking of children, the Duggars also tend to favor at-homebirths instead of using hospitals. Jinger, on the other hand, did not evenconsider having her first child, Felicity, at home and checked out nearbyhospitals as soon as she discovered she was pregnant. We do not know how JimBob and Michelle felt about this, but Jinger clearly thought modern medicinewas the way to go.

3. Jinger moves to LA

After living in Texas for a while, Jinger and Jeremy relocatedonce again. Only this time, the couple moved to the bright lights of LA. Lastyear, the family of three made the trek out west and have bee settling intotheir new home ever since. The Duggars have ventured out to California for avisit, but Jinger has definitely put about as much space between her and herfamily as possible.

2. Jeremy and Jinger support higher education

One reason Jinger and Jeremy move to LA was because of his education. Jeremy is currently finishing his degree at a seminary in LA and had to go to campus to complete his coursework. The Duggars are not strictly against education, but they hardly advocate for their children to go to post-secondary school.

We do not know how long the pair will remain in the area, but based on Jinger’s posts on social media, she is loving it there.

1. Jinger Duggar is a reality TV fan

A round table discussion.

When she was still living in Texas, Jinger revealed that she is abig fan of Chip and Joanna Gaines, who starred on the hit reality show, FixerUpper. While the Duggars are reality TV stars, they preach against watchingtelevision in their households.

Star Wars Episode 9: Rise Of Skywalker – Release Date, Special Features For DVD, 4K UHD, Blu-Ray

Update: The digital version of the home release has arrived early, releasing on Friday, March 13–4 days ahead of schedule. Take a look at all of the special features it contains below. The physical copies of the movie on Blu-ray, 4K UHD, and DVD will still release on March 31.

While the Skywalker Saga may have come to a close with Star Wars: Episode IX, that doesn’t mean Star Wars won’t live on until the end of time. Whether you missed it in theaters or want to watch the adventures of Rey and Kylo Ren all over again, you’ll be happy to know that the movie arrives digitally on March 17 and on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on March 31.

Like the vast majority of home releases, Rise of Skywalker will come loaded with special features that will expand on the Star Wars universe, including a feature-length documentary. Titled “The Skywalker Legacy,” the video documents the making of the latest film. While there aren’t many details revealed about this doc, we’re sure to get an in-depth look at the process of putting together the Skywalker Saga finale as well as interviews with cast and crew.

Additionally, there are some other featurettes of note, including one about Warwick Davis and his son. Davis first appeared in Return of the Jedi as the Ewok Wicket, and he gets to wear the costume one more time. However, this go around, he’s joined by his son. There is also one special feature that’s only available on the digital release, which covers John Williams work on the score of the Star Wars movies. Sadly, there is no mention of audio commentary. It would have been interesting to hear director JJ Abram’s vision for the movie in his own words.

In GameSpot’s review of Rise of Skywalker, Mike Rougeau said, “In the end, it all feels simply empty. It should never be so clear to audiences that something in the filmmaking process has gone so terribly wrong–that the people who made the first film in a trilogy apparently didn’t bother to sketch out a plan for the second and third, and that the movies’ directors had visions for the series’ future that were so fundamentally at odds. Star Wars deserved better.”

Below, you’ll find all the special features for the upcoming home release of Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker along with where you can go to pre-order the movie.

Pre-order Rise of Skywalker on Blu-ray and digital
