What JC Chasez From NSYNC Is Doing Today – Nicki Swift

Back in the early 2000s, fans could name all of NSYNC’s members by heart. But these days, the band’s four members who aren’t Justin Timberlake have fallen a bit by the wayside. Sure, the band had eight Grammy nominations, but that was almost 20 years ago. So it’s only natural for fans to wonder where the band members are now.

Joey Fatone appeared on the first season of The Masked Singer, while Lance Bass is producing a movie about two NSYNC superfans. Chris Kirkpatrick went on to voice a Fairly OddParents character. And what about JC Chasez? After releasing a solo album in 2004, Chasez has gone on to play himself in various TV and movie roles, including his role as a judge on America’s Best Dance Crew and a cameo on What’s New, Scooby-Doo?

And while he’s keeping a lower profile than his bandmates — he only has 41 Instagram posts, many of which are NSYNC throwbacks — it sounds like Chasez has joined his old buddies for some (virtual) quarantine fun. It’s nice to see the guys are still friends after all these years!

NSYNC's members have been holding virtual quarantine happy hours

The band that drinks together, stays together. Stays friends, that is! Back in April 2020, Lance Bass shared with Andy Cohen that the NSYNC members had been having virtual happy hours during quarantine. “During quarantine, your relationships get tighter, so now we have happy hours every week together and on Zoom, which is really fun,” Bass said to Cohen at the time, confirming that all five band members were on board for the digital get-togethers.

Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick, and Joey Fatone also debuted a photo of themselves on their respective Instagram pages, where the three of them are together wearing face shields, captioned with the hashtag, “#QuaraNSYNC.” The photos sparked rumors that they could be planning an NSYNC reunion, though J.C. Chasez and Justin Timberlake weren’t present for the photo. Still, it’s fun to know that Chasez and the rest of the NSYNC gang are still in touch. Chasez’s life is a lot more private these days, but he’ll always look back on those NSYNC days with fondness.
