TYSON FURY has shared a remarkable throwback picture of himself with newly-crowned IBF featherweight champion Kid Galahad – who he predicted would become a world titleholder.
Galahad got his hands on the IBF's 119lb strap on Saturday night with an 11th-round stoppage of Liverpudlian Jazza Dickens.
The Qatari's bloody world title triumph came at the second time of asking.
And the 31-year-old's glorious night at Eddie Hearn's Fight Camp was praised by the Gypsy King Fury.
Alongside a picture of himself carrying a young Galahad, Fury tweeted: "Congratulations @KidGalahad90 Party popper.
"You deserve your glory. Got to say I tipped you to be champ from the start. Welcome to the club."
After the fight, an elated Galahad – real name Abdul-Bari Awad – said: "I have waited 19 years for that.
"I am a full-time professional, no days off, no time out. I am over the moon.
You deserve your glory
"I have had 18 months out and I have just smashed a future world champion from pillar to post.
"I moved home at 15, into a crappy flat next to the gym with five other boxers with rats running around the floor, and now I am a world champion and I can get my mum a nice house."
Galahad doesn't plan on relinquishing the IBF strap anytime soon, saying: "When I went in there I was tunnel-visioned.
"Everyone else fell apart; Josh Warrington, Can Xu, they all fell apart.
"Look what I did in there today, 18 months out and I went in there and smashed him from pillar to post.
"What happened with them two?
