Tottenham transfer news: The THREE most likely deadline day signings if Daniel Levy approves Dele Alli to PSG deal

TOTTENHAM star Dele Alli is still clinging to hope of a January move to Paris Saint-Germain having been frozen out in North London.

Manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly given his blessing for the 24-year-old to leave for the remainder of the season.

However, chairman Daniel Levy is reluctant to sanction a deal without a replacement lined up.

Here, SunSport take a look at the THREE most likely midfield arrivals at Tottenham, according to odds supplied by bookmakers Betfair.

Christian Eriksen – 6/4

Spurs have been tipped to sign their former playmaker Christian Eriksen in recent weeks.

The Dane, 28, left to join Inter Milan 12 months ago but has failed to adapt having netted just five goals and provided three assists in 41 appearances.

He's the most likely of the thee candidates at 6/4 but that price could soon drift after his 97th-minute winner gave Inter victory in a dramatic Coppa Italia derby.

And Antonio Conte is adamant Eriksen is going nowhere.

He said: "I have been repeating for a month that no-one will arrive and no-one will leave. He is a very intelligent player, he has quality and he is part of the project."

Marcel Sabitzer – 5/1

RB Leipzig captain Marcel Sabitzer is a wanted man.

The midfielder is understood to have rejected a new deal with the Bundesliga heavyweights and plenty of clubs are queuing up to grab his signature.

London duo Arsenal and Tottenham have both been linked with the 26-year-old Austrian.

And RB Leipzig may have to consider cashing in on their prizes asset, who has now entered the final 18 months of his contract.

Angel Di Maria – 13/2

It didn't work out at Manchester United, but could Angel Di Maria be given another crack at the Premier League with Tottenham?

Reports claim Spurs have made contact with Angel Di Maria over a free transfer this summer.

The playmaker's contract expires in June and he's free to discuss terms with clubs outside of France.

However, the Argentine is clearly valued in Paris having started every game under new boss Mauricio Pochettino. He's priced at 13/2 to make the switch before Monday's deadline.
