According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics' 2019 Occupational Employment Statistics data, the average annual salary for real estate agents nationwide is $62,060.
And while the median annual agent wage sits at $48,930, there are significant differences in pay across the board, as workers in the top 10% of agents earn $111,800 annually, while those in the lowest-earning 10% of agents make about $24,930 a year.
Agents in the 25th percentile earned an average annual salary of $33,600, and agents in the 75th percentile earned $75,340.
