Reddit user divides Brits with rude Mother’s Day card and tinned breakfast gift

A jokester divided Reddit users after sharing a photo of a gift given on Mother’s Day.

The snap contained a card with a rude message and a tinned breakfast.

Hundreds of social media users liked the post, but others called it offensive, “disgusting”, “brutal” and worse.

The bloke captioned the snap: “Happy Mother’s Day!”

The pink and white card, posted online after Mother’s Day on Sunday, said: “Every person in this family has been in or come out of your fanny.

“Happy Mother’s Day.”

Next to the card was a tinned “All Day Breakfast” which costs £1.25 at Tesco.

Would you give this to your mother or appreciate being given it? Tell us in the comments…

It contains baked beans, sausages, button mushrooms, chopped pork, egg nuggets, cereal and mini bacon burgers.

Yeah, we’re not sure how we feel about that either (what are egg nuggets?).

Some commenters were annoyed about the gift.

One person wrote: “Who gives their mum a tin of all day breakfast for Mother's Day? F*** sake, some people…”

“That card is mega cringe as well,” added another.

“Thanks, I hate it,” noted a third.

While a fourth said: “That is disgusting.

“Also, I'm not a fan of that card either.”

Another wrote: “‘Everyone in this family…’ uhhh, you better hope not everyone in your family has been in your mum’s fanny if they didn't come out of it

“Also I'd rather die of horrific circumstances than hand my mother that card on Mother's day in front of the family, joke or not haha.”

But others found the gift a laugh and joked about it.

One laughed: “Makes me glad I’m adopted…”

“Uncle Dave has some questions to answer,” added another.

While a third said: “Brought a tear to my eyes.”
