Opus Soundbed Offers Sonic Solution For Your Wellbeing

SoundBed promises to be a “home gym for your heart” using a mix of vibrations and sounds via a foldable bed.

The Opus SoundBed, the creation of Swiss designer Yves Behar, operates on the premises that sound and touch are vital for emotional wellbeing. It uses five customizable transducers inside to produce a precise range of vibrations and folds away into an hexagon when not in use.

Opus is also offering a membership service, promising a range of original content from “soundhealing artists.”

The Soundbed appears to be the first product from Opus, a company which uses the tagline “Immersive Soundhealing for Emotional Fitness”.

Opus, which states that the SoundBed is made in Austin, Texas, is offering a pre-order price of $1,200 USD with deliveries expected this fall.
