Marks and Spencer released a light-up bottle of gin liqueur with flakes of 23-carat edible gold leaf for Christmas this year and it’s proved to be popular.
Stores are struggling to keep the bottles stocked on shelves as shoppers want a festive tipple.
But for those who fancy trying the clementine flavour without committing to a full bottle, the store is now selling mini bottles of the drink.
And the best thing is that they are actually Christmas baubles so you can hang them on your tree.
Of course, gin baubles aren’t new and brands have been doing them for years but with the glitter gin so on trend, it’s another way to enjoy.
M&S said: ‘Following the huge popularity of the Light-up Glitter Globe Gin Liqueur – we have shrunk the Christmas must-have into bauble form – super cute!
‘At £12 for a pack of 3 – these stunning baubles will add that extra sparkle to your Christmas tree – containing 23-carat edible gold leaf and 5cl of the delicious clementine gin liqueur. The ideal gift for loved ones.’
The baubles went on sale this week but are expected to sell fast.
Sadly, although the large bottles also come in a rhubarb flavour, the mini bottles are only available with clementine liqueur. The smaller bottles also don’t have the fairy lights built-in but hopefully the lights on your tree will make them glow.
If you don’t manage to get your hands on the M&S baubles but still want to hang some gin on your tree, you can pick up this set of six for £25 at John Lewis.
