Actor Billy Gardell has detailed his impressive 150-pound weight loss, revealing he’s no longer diabetic.

The “Mike & Molly” alum told Entertainment Tonight that he’s “walking around pretty healthy these days” as his weight now “floats between 205 and 210.”

The 53-year-old’s new lifestyle also came with perks, such as being able to shop at more clothing stores for his slimmed-down physique.

“It’s been a real gift, on top of all the health stuff. That was the big thing,” he said.

But the biggest win that followed the weight loss was the departure of his type 2 diabetes, which he said is now “gone.”

Gardell also revealed that he underwent a gastric bypass operation two years ago.

“The only thing I would say is understand that the operation is not the end, it’s the beginning,” he said, adding that he backed out on the procedure twice before.

Elsewhere, Gardell said his health journey ultimately helped his relationship with his son William.
