Valentine’s Day this year is set to be different from any other. Due to Covid restrictions, we cannot go out for dinner or head to the pub for a drink. So, to help romantics make the most of spending the day at home, McVitie’s new Fully Coated range of biscuits are sure to add some serious indulgence to the occasion.
The ultra-chocolatey golden biscuits are completely covered in thick milk chocolate and are perfect for those looking to make snack times a little bit more special.
They are available in all major retailers nationwide at £1.79 per box.
As plenty of couples will be dining at home for Valentine’s day this year, many supermarkets are offering dinner deals that might take your fancy.
In Tesco, you can get a choice of starter, main, two sides, dessert and a drink for £15. In the offer there are 29 items to choose from so there should be something for everyone. Choices include dauphinoise potatoes, rump steaks and chocolate profiteroles.
Asda is also offering a meal deal in which you can get a starter, main, two sides, dessert and a drink or box of Thorntons chocolates for £15.

As far as gifts go, Boots has a good sale on at the moment where you can buy Ralph Lauren’s Woman Eau de Parfum Gift Set for just £49.99. Buying the perfume alone would cost you £73.
They also have other Valentine’s Day special deals with half price off bath sets and up to £54 off selected fragrances.
