McDonalds slashes price of Big Macs for one day only to mark England v Scotland

To celebrate the Euro 2020 games, McDonald's is slashing prices for one day only.

Fans can get McMuffins and Big Macs for a cheaper price to mark the England v Scotland fixture.

The chain will sell McMuffins for 99p saving customers £1 from the usual £1.99 price tag.

Big Macs will cost just £1.79, which is £1.70 less than what customers would usually pay in branches at £3.49.

McDonald's is rolling back prices for these two favourites to what they were in 1996.

It comes as England and Scotland football teams last played each other 25 years ago in an international tournament.

But the promotion only applies on Friday, when the two sides play at Wembley Stadium.

To make the most of the promotion, you will need to order them both through the McDonald's App.

You can get it whether you've had the app for a few weeks or this morning, but new users must register an account.

But given the fact that the breakfast items only run from 6am to 11am, you'll only be able to get the Big Mac at a discounted rate.

Only one item is allowed per customer and it applies to customers over the age of 16.
