  • GOOD EVENING

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer knows the importance of tonight’s fixture in demonstrating how far Manchester United have come since he took the reins.

The Red Devils were sent out of the Champions League in 2018 by Sevilla, when Jose Mourinho was at the helm, but should they win this evening then they still have a chance to get their hands on some silverware this evening.

But the Spanish side will not make United’s progression to the final easy, having shown their brute force and relentless nature against Wolves in the quarterfinals.

Sevilla have an unbeaten run that stretches back to February and have a dangerous play-maker in Ever Banega.

In fact, it was Benga that stole the show when Sevilla won at Old Trafford in their last meeting.

While the Red Devils have a healthy trophy cabinet, Sevilla are a team who thrive in this competition having won the Europa League five time.

We are set to be in for one hell of a clash this evening, even a quad with as much experience as Sevilla’s know what a threat Solskjaer’s squad are.

Even Sevilla’s head coach Julen Lopetegui hailed them the ‘biggest team in the world’.

The winners of this clash will either meet Inter Milan or Shakhtar Donetsk, should they meet the Italians United will face three of their former players in Lukaku, Young and Sanchez.
