Browns have chance to end history of pain
Lamar Jackson got off the schneid, and the Ravens got revenge.
The 24-year-old reigning NFL MVP had 136 yards rushing, including a dazzling 48-yard touchdown, as the Ravens defeated the Titans 20-13 Sunday in a wild-card game.
The win is Jackson’s first in the playoffs and avenges Baltimore’s Divisional Round loss to Tennessee last year.
Jackson’s 48-yard score tied the game 10-10 late in the first half after the Titans took a 10-0 lead in the first quarter when A.J. Brown opened the scoring with a 10-yard touchdown reception from Ryan Tannehill.
Tannehill, however, threw a brutal interception after the two-minute warning in the fourth quarter. An ensuing 33-yard run from Jackson and another first down sealed the win.
Jackson finished 17-for-24 passing with 179 yards and an interception. The Ravens held Derrick Henry to 40 yards rushing on 18 carries.
