There aren’t many looks Kate Middleton wears that we don’t instantly fall in love with and Wednesday’s ensemble was an exceptionally gorgeous one as she made an appearance at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
The Duchess of Cambridge opted for a beautiful red check dress from designer Alessandra Rich which perfectly showed off her slender figure. Kate also teamed her look with embellished black court heels priced at £550 from Jennifer Chamandi and a matching black clutch bag from British brand Mulberry.
While her outfit may have been more on the pricey side, there’s one piece she wore which you may recognise from e-retailer ASOS.
Yes that’s right, The Duchess opted for a pair of £10 earrings from one of our go-to shops for her appearance and we can’t quite believe our eyes.
Kate, 40, is known for occasionally mixing high street brands with her outfits, particularly labels such as Zara, Boden, Missoma, Whistles and Marks and Spencer, but a pair of ASOS earrings are definitely something we didn’t expect to see the royal wearing.

The mother-of-three also sported two gold necklaces, one double strand gold chain from Welsh brand Spells of Love which was a new addition to her jewellery collection last year, and the second one is a gold charm pendant necklace from one of Kate Middleton’s favourite brands Asprey priced at a hefty £16,650.

The brunette beauty also wore a £9,000 daisy-shaped diamond necklace from the luxury jewellery brand in some new portrait pictures with her husband Prince William which is believed to be an anniversary gift from him to mark their 10 years of marriage – have you heard of anything so cute?
We look forward to seeing what Kate wears on her next royal appearance.
