We all know what sun damage can do to the skin, and how it can cause premature signs of ageing and loss of volume. And one person who has learned the hard way about the visible effects of sun exposure is Judy Murray.

The tennis coach has no doubt racked up many an hour outside on tennis courts soaking up the sun’s rays, and it began showing on her skin when she entered her sixties. Now 61, she’s miraculously managed to turn back the clock and knock decades off her look after undergoing a no-knife treatment.

Judy's transformation was posted on Instagram earlier this week by Dr Judy Todd, who revealed she was treated with InMode’s Morpheus8 – a non-surgical skin tightening and rejuvenating treatment.

It works by combining micro-needling with radiofrequency technology – which delivers energy deeper into the skin and causes your face to become tighter and firmer after just one treatment. Results also continue to improve over time.

Judy had three treatments of it, over the course of a year, and Dr Todd notes it’s miraculously taken a decade off her appearance. This is clearly evident by the very impressive before and after shots, which show a noticeable improvement in skin elasticity and tone, and a reduction in wrinkles.

Judy isn’t the first celebrity to rave about this treatment as Amanda Holden is also a long-time fan.

“The results have been absolutely amazing. I’ve noticed a real plumpness to my skin and it’s much tighter,” she wrote on Instagram, after trialling the treatment while she was filming for Britain’s Got Talent.

Kim Kardashian has also posted about this needle-based treatment, and claims it helps keep her looking youthful.

Prices for the treatment vary depending on clinic, but at Derma Spa (where Amanda Holden favours) prices start at around £750 for the face and neck. Most patients only need 2-3 sessions to see long-lasting results – so on the upside, you won’t have the half-yearly upkeep that comes with injectables.
