DEAR DEIDRE: IN a few months, my friend is meant to be my bridesmaid.
But we have fallen out over something really trivial and I don’t know what to do.
It has got to the stage where we aren’t talking at all.
This has really upset me.
I texted her a few times but she hasn’t responded once.
I don’t know what else to try.
Other friends have told me to just leave her alone for now and let her calm down.
But I’m not sure this is the right thing to do.
I’m 24 and my friend is 25.
We have been friends since college and have never fallen out before.

DEIDRE SAYS: It could be that you getting married has altered the balance between you.
Even if you did not start the row, say you are sorry and remind her how long you have been mates.
My e-leaflet on Rows With Friends will help.
You will feel better if you reach out.
But if she rejects this, accept she is not going to be there for your big day.
