TV personality Joe Swash became a household name after his stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! back in 2008.
Also known for his scene-stealing turn as Mickey Miller in EastEnders, the actor-turned-presenter now takes over ITV daytime TV on a regular basis.
During the initial whirlwind of his fame, Joe, 39, took part in an interesting experiment when he allowed his teenage pin-up Pamela Anderson to come and stay with him for a week.
The TV special Pamela Anderson: My Week With Joe, which was one in a series of Living TV programmes Living With My Idol, saw the two celebrities thrown together and trying to muddle through.
At the time, a then-27-year-old Joe was living with his mum and two sisters Caisie and Shana, and also dating his EastEnders co-star Kara Tointon.
The Baywatch star was 41, and took the plunge to move into the group’s North London home, but it wasn’t quite what Joe had imagined it would be.
Joe is now engaged to Loose Women panellist Stacey Solomon whom he shares baby Rex with, and he also has an older son called Harry with his ex-girlfriend Emma Sophocleous.
But the nervous actor revealed that when Pamela moved in back in 2009, she had nothing much in common with a 20-something living with his mum.
“Pam was a lovely woman and she really got on like a house on fire with my mum," Joe admitted soon after. "She even invited her out to LA to stay."
What’s more, the following week it was Joe’s turn to enter an unknown environment, as he took a flight to Los Angeles and stayed with Pamela.
The star was forced to live in a trailer park while the Baywatch actress' home was being renovated, but by this point the pair had forged an unlikely friendship.
"I was terrified that we wouldn't have anything to talk about," Joe shared. “Luckily by the end we were giggling non-stop and I was pinching her arse."
"Pam is lovely but she's not my type," the I’m A Celeb winner added. "I've already got a beautiful girlfriend."

Pamela moved in to the Swash’s family home and stayed for seven days.
With her jet-set lifestyle in tow, the Hollywood star whisked Joe off to Hugh Hefner's Playboy mansion.
"My mates were jealous when I went to the Playboy mansion with Pamela…" Joe told What’s On TV at the time. "I’ve always wanted to go.
"Hugh Hefner was a lovely fella. He had the dressing gown and suede slippers on and took me on a tour of the mansion. I felt honoured."
The pair also travelled to Paris together on a work trip, as the blonde bombshell had a modelling assignment in the city of love.

Joe also told What’s On TV that the gorgeous model had been a "very important" part of his teen years and growing up.
The sexy beach babe was even plastered across his walls when he was just 13 years old.
He said: "It was surreal meeting her. I got to the airport, the nerves suddenly kicked in and I thought, 'What am I doing here?'
Joe also revealed the Hollywood movie star was unpredictable, and it was a struggle trying to guess which version of her he’d get from one minute to the next.
"You never know which Pamela is going to turn up…" the presenter divulged. "There’s the wild Pamela and then the maternal one where she just wants to be with her kids. When she is in work mode you can’t be around her.
"In Paris I spent my time trying to find her because she kept escaping."

While the pair muddled through their experience, Joe got candid about their unusual connection.
"We had our ups and downs. She got narky sometimes, but I was like her little brother by the end. I think she saw me as a cheeky Londoner like Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins."
Joe Swash also joked if he had the choice, he’d spend a week with English TV and stage acting legend Ray Winstone just to have the opportunity to work with him.
"That would be even better than Pammy. Maybe we could do When Joe Met Ray."
