A proud Kellie shared back in 2016, that Paul was playing a police officer interviewing Bobby Beale after he confessed to killing sister Lucy.
Kellie, who has been acting since she was 11, told her followers at the time to look out for him by tweeting: “For all u @bbceastenders fans, keep a special eye out 4 my hubby in tonight’s ep! I give you DS Howard South. Sadly Linda & Howard never meet!”
When did Kellie and Paul get married?
The actress, who also voiced a character on Radio 4's Archers for a decade, admitted that their seven year age gap caused the pair to briefly split – before they tied the knot in 2014.
Talking about their brief split, the actress told OK! magazine: "Reality kicked in. I was 31 and wanted to have kids, and Paul was 24 and didn't at the time. I felt it wasn't fair on Paul – I worried he'd resent me."
Paul said that they instead agreed a compromise: "We had fun – we have a campervan and I love surfing, so we travelled around France, Spain and Australia," and laughed that Kellie fell pregnant "almost instantly!"
The couple married in an intimate ceremony in Trelill, Cornwall with her onscreen husband Danny Dyer said to be in attendance as well as Maddy Hill and Sam Strike, who appear as her children Nancy and Johnny.
How many children do Kellie and Paul have?
Kellie gave birth to her first son Freddy in in December 2011, and while falling pregnant was easy the first time round it wasn't plain-sailing for their second son Gene.
The couple announced they were expecting Gene exclusively with OK! magazine and shared of the first pregnancy: "We started trying when I was 34, nearly 35. I fell pregnant very easily – but with the second one, it was a different story."
Her husband Paul added: "It took us ages. By the time Strictly rolled around in 2015, we'd been trying for about a year."
She confessed: "I think Strictly helped us, as it took the focus off trying and the fact I was nearly 40. We were trying for more than a year and I was aware that I wasn't getting any younger – but here we are, pregnant and I'm due on November 26."

"With Freddy, we were all over the birthing plan," Kellie said. "I wanted it to be as natural as possible and planned a hypnobirth in a birthing pool. But it all went out the window as I had to be induced and I had a pre-eclampsia.
"This time I'm just going to go with the flow," she said ahead of Gene's arrival.
Gene arrived on November 21, 2016, and Kellie told OK! magazine that she almost gave birth in a car his labour was that quick.

“I was so uncomfortable in the car and the contractions were coming quite quickly by that point. But of course it was school run time so we got stuck in traffic. When we arrived at the hospital, a midwife could see I was in established labour and took me straight to a delivery room. About 20 minutes after our arrival at 9am, my waters broke!”
And immediately after she gave birth to her second child Kellie said she knew she wanted another: "I said right away in the delivery room that I wanted another baby. I don’t feel ready to shut the door on motherhood just yet."
