Janice Dickinson says she “could have won” I’m A Celebrity… South Africa if ITV bosses had allowed her back into camp after her horror fall.
It was previously reported that the former model, 68, was forced to quit the ITV show after she was left with her “whole chin gashed open”.
It is understood the star tripped and fell on her face while trying to find the toilet in the middle of the night when filming the pre-recorded programme last September – which will not be aired on TV.

Following the fall, the mum-of-two was rushed to hospital where she was treated for her injuries with viewers set to bid farewell to the star for good on Monday night (May 8).
Now, the brunette beauty has shared her disappointment at leaving the ITV show early, with the American model convinced she could have won the show.
Reflecting over her time on the show, she said: “I could have been the one to be second runner up or even win this series because I was just so steadfast and physiological with it.
“I was just waiting and biding my time with it all. I did my fair share in standing up, falling down. Getting my arse in the dirt.”
The star added that she would have loved to have returned to camp and finished the show but was advised by telly bosses not to continue on with the show.
Janice continued: “I felt like they could have possibly cleaned my wounds and set me back on my path in there. Production made the right decision in the end to not send me back in.
“I’m just sad it ended that way. I think I could have gone back in and gone on further.”
Speaking to The Sun’s TV Mag, Janice recalled the devastating moment in clear detail, noting: “I was feeling very insecure because the campfire had gone out and it was as dark as it could be.
“So I thought, ‘Right, I'll make it to the dunny from memory’, I walked a couple of steps and tripped, flying flat on my face – hair all over my forehead, my nose was bloody and my whole chin was gashed open.
“Blood was gushing from all these areas, and they was dirt and stones embedded in my face from the fall. All I could feel was an intense head pain.
“From one to ten it was about a nine,” she revealed. “I was just lying there, moaning. It was a freak accident that happened so quickly.”

Luckily, Janice was found by Fatima Whitbread and Phil Tufnell who helped pick her up off the floor and return to the campsite.
Janice was then taken to the medical hut where she was cleaned up and given pain relief before she was taken off to hospital.
